1960s Super heavyweight, light blue durene knit football jersey. Jersey is made of a durene cotton blend. Fabric is NOT the mercerized, shiny durene, but closer to that of a nylon knit. Stretchy! Light blue with white and navy trim. Number "53" sewn on front, back and sleeves in 2-color tackle twill. Knit trim on sleeves and collar. No rips or stains. BEAUTIFUL JERSEY. Made by Powers MFG of Waterloo, Iowa, size 44. Unknown team, could have been used by Drake University or Indiana State.
